about

We are one, in all our fascinating diversity.
But with a sick soul, we cannot be. There is no autonomy possible living in suffering.

Our mind and body make up a whole with the space we inhabit. if our society gets sick, we get sick and vice versa, in a spiral cycle that could become a virtuous circle if we managed to change the status quo.

But it’s easier to manipulate us with a wounded soul, with exhausted eyes and trembling hands. That’s why the system is psychopathic.

Health is the right of the human being whose reverse is despair, the most absolute submission and death.
To keep us in the sickness of any aspect of our being is an attack against human rights.

Across the planet, so-called "mental health" is a privilege.

Like a slow and silent crime, mental health is treated as if it were not health at all, but of course it is, is the health of all the people.

If you suffer from a chronic illness, your mental health will most likely be affected, if your boss mistreats you, if you left everything behind to be able to send money to your family, if kids insult you at school, if you are afraid that your new friends don't know your past and your old name ,if you fear that you will be raped or someone throws acid on you when you return home, or you do not have a home because it collapsed, all that, is also health, the health of all and our world.

Stop acting like it's not.

Climate change, savage capitalism and geostrategic policies act as stressors for the most impoverished countries, whose people live fighting alongside a constant mental illness suffering.

The fragmentation, self-absorption, competition and individualism of western societies, increasingly removed from traditional circles of care, generate constant mental suffering. No people can live with health in any land under these conditions.

October 10th is World Mental Health Day, during this month associations and individuals around the world work to give visibility to this issue. This year's slogans highlight the importance of mental health for everyone.
For the World Health Organization, this year's slogan is "Mental health care for all: let's make it happen".
And for the Mental Health Confederation of Spain, the slogan chosen by popular vote is "Mental health, a necessary right. Tomorrow it can be you".

We have composed this song to make visible the suffering of having a disease and not being able to have the necessary tools to get ahead, the revictimization lived in a system that forces you to endure a double sentence.

The song is available for free on our bandcamp. We would like all of us to do our bit and collaborate with the aid to the people of La Palma, the Haitian people and Afghan women, if you like the song you can donate 1€ or whatever you consider to one of the following organizations:

lyrics

"Airecel" was the first word I learned when I moved to Alicante that became my favorite. Airecel is the catalan word for "distant air when it has no other back than the apparent turn of the sky”.

When I was a child I started to see ghosts of living people. I have always thought that people are good but their ghosts are like their wounds, and they hurt them. I couldn't stop seeing the ghosts of those people who hurt me, so when I saw them I would look up and send them to the aircel, where they lived flying.

When I grew up and saw that many people had ghosts, the sky broke with hurt and they rained down to the ground, walking down the street where I see them. Since then I spend long times without leaving the house and only look down because it hurts less. I wish I could look at the sky, and see the leaves flying from some tree in autumn.

"The air of heaven, the firmament. From its nest... contemplates the depths of the airecel”. Ruyra Pinya
